BIOMETRICS VERIFICATION
Biometrics in simple terms is a technical term for biological measurement of biometric identifiers that are unique to everyone such as fingerprints, palm prints, facial features, eye retinas, DNA etc.

This data is used for Criminal Clearance Certificates, ID verification and Fingerprint verification.

ELECTRONIC CRIMINAL CLEARANCE
The electronic criminal clearance is an alternative to the standard police clearance certificate (PCC). The information contained in the electronic criminal clearance is extracted from the same SAPS database but is not an official police clearance certificate which is needed for certain applications. Our clients will need to enquire if this option will suffice for their needs.
The benefits of this clearance is the speed at which it can be issued and allows our clients results to become available within 24-48 hours. Certain institutions also accept this clearance which brings down the cost of a normal SAPS police clearance.

A presidential pardon is a complete forgiveness and absolution of a serious crime by the government. To pardon a person is to forgive a person for his/her deeds, as if one was never convicted.
According to our constitution the decision to pardon or not can be taken only by the South African president. The pardon process is a long one and can take two years or longer to finalise due to the involvement of various role players.
The pardon process is not available to persons who maintain their innocence and is not an advanced form of appeal procedure. It is an alternative option is for more serious crimes where direct imprisonment was received or a fine exceeding R20,000 was paid.
